Sea kayaking is fast becoming the water sport of choice among outdoor enthusiasts. Sea kayaking is rewarding in many ways. Paddle the world famous waters of East Penobscot and Blue Hill Bays, located along the Maine Island Trail, under the guidance of Registered Maine Sea Kayak Guides at Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. The resort also provides a wonderful launching spot for those who prefer to sea kayak independently.

Departure time: 10:00 am
Return time: 2:00 pm
Prep: Before you begin your kayak adventure, the Registered Maine Sea Kayak Guides will start with basic instruction on the beach for those who are novices and a refresher for those who are more advanced. The guides will also provide spray skirts, kayaks, paddles, paddle floats, snacks and tons of water to keep your body hydrated. After the demonstration of a wet exit and proper paddling procedure and fitting everyone to a boat we are off and running.
Necessary Gear: Sun screen, sun glasses, hat, water shoes, swim suits as an undergarment for comfort, shorts or nylon pants, an anorak, and a disposal camera.
Picnic lunch is provided on trip's return.
